Are you looking to build a long-term career in finance with a supportive employer that will invest in your development?We are recruiting for a Finance Administrator to join a collaborative finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who has completed, or is close to completing, their AAT Level 4 qualification and is looking to progress towards a professional accounting qualification.Working closely with Project Managers and Directors, you will play a key role in managing project finances, providing valuable financial insight, and helping to drive strong commercial performance across a range of exciting environmental and renewable energy projects.Key Responsibilities
- Set up and manage project financial information, ensuring strong financial governance and control.
- Support Project Managers and Directors with accurate financial reporting and analysis.
- Monitor and review project performance, identifying opportunities to improve profitability and cash flow.
- Lead monthly work-in-progress (WIP) reviews and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships across the business and act as a trusted finance contact.
- Deliver training and support to non-finance colleagues to improve financial understanding.
- Produce high-quality financial and management reports.
- Provide flexible finance support to the wider business as required.
What you'll need to succeed
- AAT Level 4 qualified or in the final stages of completion.
- Looking to continue studying towards a professional accounting qualification.
- Strong Excel skills with confidence handling and analysing large datasets.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships and confidently challenge where appropriate.
