Personal Tax Manager / Senior Manager - #2112926

This is a hands-on role where you will be managing client relationships, delivering high-quality tax advice and mentoring colleagues.

Your new role
*Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients: annual self-assessment tax returns, tax planning, onboarding, and ongoing support.
*Provide proactive tax advice to individuals, including high-net-worth clients, business owners, and families.
*Ensure a high level of client satisfaction and retention through excellent service and communication.
*Lead, mentor, and inspire team members, including trainees and junior tax staff.
*Promote personal tax services in the local community and through professional networks.
*Meet prospective personal tax clients and convert opportunities.
*Collaborate across the group to optimise workflows and resources, especially between tax and accounts teams.
*Ensure billing, client service, and documentation is accurate and timely, in line with regulatory requirements.

What you'll need to succeed
*Qualified tax professional (CTA, ATT, ACCA/ICAEW with significant personal tax experience, or equivalent).
*Corporate Tax experience an advantage
*Delivery of high quality, accurate, and timely work.
*Demonstrated expertise in personal tax compliance and advisory work.
*Strong leadership, team engagement and people development skills.
*Commercial judgement
*Excellent relationship management, promoting trust, providing proactive advice, and collaborating on clients' personal financial goals.
