Location: Bristol (Hybrid Working, 2-3 days office central Bristol; option to work 5 days in 4)
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
A well-established and growing accountancy practice is seeking a Tax Senior to join its central Bristol office following the retirement of a long-standing team member. The Team
The Bristol office currently consists of 13 employees and provides services across accounts, tax, audit, bookkeeping and payroll. The successful candidate will report directly to the Practice Manager and work alongside a highly experienced team supporting a varied client portfolio.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of personal tax clients, providing both compliance and advisory services. The client base includes High Net Worth Individuals, Directors, Sole Traders, Landlords, Partnerships, Farming Businesses, and other owner-managed clients.
Working closely with the Practice Manager and wider team, you will provide proactive advice, identify planning opportunities, build strong client relationships, and support junior colleagues with technical guidance where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients.
- Preparation and review of personal tax returns.
- Delivering personal tax advisory and planning services.
- Advising a broad range of clients including HNWIs, Directors, Landlords, Sole Traders and Partnerships.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members.
- Keeping up to date with tax legislation and technical developments.
- Collaborating with colleagues across the wider group when required.
About You
- ATT or CTA qualified, part-qualified, finalist, or qualified by experience.
- Strong personal tax compliance experience.
- Previous exposure to advisory work would be beneficial.
- Experience managing client relationships.
