I'm currently recruiting for a Travel Experience Administrator to join a well-established client in Bristol on a temporary basis to support travellers exploring Japan.
Working hours: Friday–Tuesday (off: Wednesday & Thursday) / 8:30am-5:00pm during BST until 25 Oct, 8;00am-5:30pm during GMT
Hourly rate is £14.30 per hour.
Key responsibilities:
Communicate with suppliers in Japanese via fax, telephone, and email
Coordinate with the Customer Experience Team on customer experience issues
Recording actions taken in TESS, our customer experience ticketing system
Troubleshoot with our suppliers during service disruptions – earthquakes, typhoons etc
Liaise with service providers to ensure seamless service delivery
Research and identify new suppliers for restaurants and experiences
Respond to simple customer enquiries when appropriate to ensure a positive client experience
We’re looking for someone who:
Passion for helping people and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
Ability to communicate professionally and smoothly with suppliers, build trust, and work empathetically and effectively
Overseas living or work experience
Experience in customer service roles
Strong interest in travel and tourism (professionally or personally)
Experience using databases (CRM, reservation systems, etc.)
Native-level Japanese with business-level English (TOEIC 750+), or native-level English with near-native Japanese proficiency (JLPT N1 or equivalent)
