CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILSLocation: Bristol
Position: EYFS Teaching Assistant
Rate of Pay:£110 per day
Hours: Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available
Contract Types: Ad-hoc, Short-Term, Long-Term, and Temp-to-Perm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND REQUIREMENTSESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTSPrevious experience working with children within an EYFS, nursery, preschool, or primary school setting
Good understanding of child development and the EYFS Framework
Ability to support learning through play and child-led activities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A caring, patient, and nurturing approach
Ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
Commitment to supporting children's learning, wellbeing, and development
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTSLevel 2 or Level 3 Childcare/Early Years Qualification
Teaching Assistant Qualification
Paediatric First Aid Certificate
Experience supporting children with SEND
Safeguarding Training
Training can be provided where required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Supporting children in Nursery and Reception classes
- Assisting the class teacher with daily learning activities
- Encouraging children's social, emotional, and educational development
- Supporting children through structured learning and play-based activities
- Assisting with observations and assessments where required
- Promoting a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Supporting children with additional needs where necessary
- Helping to prepare learning resources and classroom activities
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Child Barred List Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new one
- Provide two professional references covering the last two years
- Have relevant experience working with children
