Senior Manager - #2105250

An ambitious accountancy practice are looking to appoint a commercially minded Senior Manager. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, developing team members, and supporting Partners in driving the continued growth of the firm.

Your new role

• Manage a substantial portfolio of business and personal tax clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Lead client meetings and provide proactive business advice.
• Review accounts, tax returns, management accounts, and statutory reporting.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
• Manage, mentor, and develop Managers, Assistant Managers, and trainees.
• Conduct performance reviews and support career development plans.
• Provide technical guidance and coaching across the team.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Identify opportunities to expand services within existing client relationships.
• Contribute to the firm's growth strategy and revenue targets.
• Monitor workflow, budgets, recoverability, and WIP.
• Ensure assignments are completed efficiently and within deadlines.
• Support the Partners with practice management initiatives.
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies across the department.

What you'll need to succeed

• ACA / ACCA qualified.
• Significant experience within an accountancy practice environment.
• Proven experience managing a portfolio of clients.
• Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge.
• Experience leading and developing teams.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commercially aware and client-focused approach.
