Specifications Technologist

• Location: Bristol
• Salary: £40,000
• Hybrid

Day-to-day of the role:

• Lead and coordinate activities for the specifications team to ensure effective project delivery.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the continual improvement of the function and coach and mentor the team to build our capability.
• Manage the completion and maintenance of customer and brand specifications and associated documentation ensuring accuracy to meet required critical paths and customer requirements.
• Ensure all specifications and artwork are accurate, comply with all relevant legislation, and are consistent with BOP.
• Manage the approval and completion of all paperwork.
• Provide data for relevant certification and accreditation and ensure effective management of the Specification and artwork critical paths.
• Provide the business with information on all food legislation issues and support the administration of QMS.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Essential experience working closely with retailer specification and artwork systems.
• In-depth knowledge of food legislation and labelling
• Desirable: Science qualification and supervisory experience.
