Fire door Installer / Carpenter - #2100048

Elevate Projects are working in partnership with our client, a Bristol based landlord, to appoint 2 x experienced Fire Door installers/ Carpenters to join their busy newly created Fire Safety Team, overseeing all essential works within Fire Safety.

You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and remediation of fire doors, ensuring all works are completed to the highest standards and in full compliance with current fire safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of new fire doors and fire door sets.
• Upgrading and remedial works to existing fire doors.
• Fitting ironmongery including closers, hinges, locks, seals, and signage.
• Ensuring all fire door installations comply with relevant regulations and manufacturer specifications.
• Recording completed works and maintaining accurate site documentation.
• Working closely with site managers, surveyors, and residents where applicable.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional working environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience installing and maintaining fire doors.
• Good knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards.
• Experience working within occupied residential properties is desirable.
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry & Joinery preferred.
• FIRAS, BM TRADA, or equivalent fire door accreditation desirable.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
