HGV Class 1 & Class 2 Driver – Bristol

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 & Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity offering £18.00 - £20.00 per hour, ongoing work, fully funded ADR training opportunities, and genuine career progression with a global leader in chemical distribution.

This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Driver, Category C Driver, Category CE Driver, Multi-Drop Driver or Delivery Driver.

Shifts

• Monday to Friday
• Start times to be confirmed
• Planned delivery schedules
• Overtime may be available

Rates of Pay

• £18.00 - £20.00 per hour (depending on licence and experience)

Day-to-Day Duties

As an HGV Class 1 & Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:

• Safely delivering hazardous and non-hazardous products to customer sites
• Loading and unloading products safely in line with company procedures
• Completing multi-drop deliveries across planned routes
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks before and after each shift
• Completing all delivery paperwork accurately
• Maintaining accurate records and complying with Drivers' Hours legislation
• Providing excellent customer service as the face of the business
• Working safely at all times and adhering to all company health and safety procedures

Essential Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) or Category CE (Class 1) Driving Licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Excellent communication skills
• Professional and reliable approach to work

Desirable Experience

• Previous multi-drop delivery experience
• ADR Licence (all classes except 1 & 7) would be advantageous but is not essential as full training will be provided for suitable candidates

Training Provided

• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
• Fully funded ADR training for suitable candidates
