Role Overview

Our client, a highly regarded national law firm, is seeking a Solicitor to join its Serious Injury team based in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a market-leading practice specialising in complex, high-value catastrophic injury claims.

Working alongside recognised leaders in the field, you will support clients who have suffered life-changing injuries, including brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and polytrauma, as well as assisting in fatal accident cases. The role offers early responsibility, including exposure to multi-million pound cases and active involvement in securing rehabilitation outcomes for clients.

You will manage your own caseload while collaborating closely with senior lawyers, with the opportunity to contribute to business development initiatives and strengthen professional networks across the healthcare and charity sectors.

Candidate Profile / Experience Needed

We are keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:

  • As a guide you will have NQ–3 years’ PQE with experience in serious injury or personal injury litigation
  • Claimant or Defendant experience considered
  • A genuine passion for catastrophic injury work and delivering exceptional client outcomes
  • Proven ability (or strong interest) in business development, including building external relationships
  • Confidence to manage a caseload alongside supporting on complex, high-value matters
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to act with empathy, integrity, and professionalism
  • A proactive, resilient approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
