Technical Support Manager (Metal roofing) - #2088728

We're looking for an ambitious construction professional who wants to develop into a recognised technical specialist within the commercial roofing industry.

You may currently be a Site Manager, Contracts Supervisor, Roofing Supervisor, Project Manager, Design Coordinator or have hands-on roofing experience and be looking for your next challenge.

This role offers full training and development, giving you the opportunity to move into a technical position where you'll work closely with contractors, architects, consultants and our sales team on commercial roofing projects across the UK.

You'll become part of our Technical Department, supporting commercial metal roofing projects from initial enquiry through to completion.

Working alongside experienced technical professionals, you'll learn how to:

• Produce technical specifications
• Support contractors and customers with technical enquiries
• Carry out site inspections and quality reviews
• Assist with technical drawings and project details
• Support the sales team on project opportunities
• Understand building regulations and compliance requirements
• Deliver product and installation training
• Become a trusted technical advisor within the business

We're more interested in attitude and potential than existing technical qualifications.

You could come from:

• Commercial roofing
• Metal roofing
• Cladding or façade systems
• Construction project management
• Site management
• Contracts management
• Carpentry or building trades
• Building envelope systems

You'll ideally have:

• Construction industry experience
• Strong communication skills
• Good organisational ability
• A practical approach to problem solving
• Confidence dealing with customers and contractors
• A desire to learn and develop

Knowledge of AutoCAD, specifications or metal roofing systems would be advantageous but is not essential.

• £45,000 - £55,000 salary depending on experience
