  • Track deliveries and ensure parts are available when required
  • Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and component records
  • Prepare hardware kits for engineering projects and development builds
  • Monitor stock levels and support inventory management processes

Test Rigs & Experimental Environments

  • Build prototype fixtures, structures and test rigs
  • Construct workstations and experimental environments for testing
  • Support rapid prototyping activities across multiple engineering teams
  • Assist with creating physical environments for robot evaluation and demonstrations

Requirements

  • Strong practical workshop and fabrication skills
  • Experience operating and maintaining 3D printers
  • Experience building or testing hardware prototypes
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience managing inventory, components and workshop resources
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks

Desirable Experience

  • Robotics, automation or mechatronics systems
  • Rapid prototyping methods and fabrication techniques
  • Aluminium extrusion systems
  • Familiarity with CAD models and engineering drawings
  • Motors, sensors, actuators or embedded systems
  • Machine shop equipment
  • Workshop safety training or certification

Who We're Looking For

  • A practical, hands-on problem solver
  • Someone who enjoys building, fixing and improving things
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Comfortable taking ownership of workshop operations
  • Excited by robotics and advanced engineering technology
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced development environment

What's on Offer

  • Salary dependent on experience
  • Opportunity to work with cutting-edge robotics technology
  • Direct access to advanced robotic platforms and prototype systems
  • Varied and hands-on engineering work
  • Collaborative and highly skilled engineering team
  • Genuine opportunity to contribute to innovative products being deployed in real-world environments
