The Aurora Group

Aurora Linemere and Aurora Hedgeway are part of the Aurora Group's specialist education provision, supporting children and young people with Autism and associated needs.

Aurora Linemere is opening in January 2027 and will be a nurturing, inclusive and ambitious school for children and young people aged 5–19 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. With a capacity of 96 students, the school will provide a safe, enriching and aspirational environment where every learner can thrive.

Aurora Hedgeway is a well-established and inspiring provision for children and young people aged 7–19 with a primary or secondary diagnosis of Autism and related social and communication needs. With provision from Key Stage 2 through to post-16, the school supports students at every stage of their academic journey, helping them to explore and achieve their full potential.

This is a dual-site role, with the successful candidate working across both Linemere and Hedgeway, playing a key role in supporting the development of Linemere while contributing to the ongoing success of Hedgeway.

Your Role as a Clinical Psychologist

You'll also provide expert guidance and training to staff and families, empowering them to better understand and respond to the needs of the children in their care. Whether leading group sessions or offering one-to-one support, your work will be instrumental in helping our students thrive, both in school and beyond.

  • Experience supporting young people with Autism and complex needs
  • Background in educational, care, or clinical settings
  • Skilled in multi-disciplinary collaboration
  • Experience supervising Assistant Psychologists
  • Passionate about evidence-based practice and continuous learning
