Professional Indemnity Account Executive / Operations Support

Location: Bristol - Hybrid - Ideally 3 days in but can be flexible to accommodate

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

About the Company:

A growing independent insurance brokerage is looking to add an experienced Professional Indemnity specialist to its team. With an established client base and ambitious growth plans, the business offers the opportunity to take ownership of client relationships while contributing to wider business improvement initiatives.

Role Summary:

This is a unique opportunity to inherit an established Professional Indemnity portfolio whilst gaining exposure and taking control of operational and strategic projects across the business. The role would suit someone who enjoys combining client management with broader business involvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage an established PI portfolio including solicitors, accountants, architects, surveyors or financial advisers.
• Take ownership of long-standing client relationships and renewals
• Handle the full renewal process: Deliver a seamless experience from initial discussions through to placement
• Build insurer and client relationships: Develop trusted partnerships and strengthen retention
• Support management reporting: Contribute directly to business performance insights, utilising and extracting information from Acturis
• Assist with operational projects: Influence business improvements and efficiencies
• Support system optimisation activities: Help shape processes and enhance ways of working

Requirements:

• Acturis experience would be advantageous
• Experience within Commercial Insurance or Professional Indemnity
• Experience managing renewals and client relationships
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• A proactive and ownership-driven approach
• Experience producing management information or business reporting would be beneficial
