We are looking for a Facilities Engineer to join our Bristol-based team and support the delivery of high-quality planned and reactive maintenance across our portfolio.



The Role

As a Facilities Engineer, you will be a front-line representative of Almeda, responsible for the day-to-day delivery of planned and reactive maintenance services. You will work on site Monday to Friday, delivering a consistently high standard of work while maintaining strong customer relationships.



Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across a defined portfolio
  • Carry out core building fabric works and minor repairs and improvements
  • Diagnose faults and identify opportunities to improve asset performance
  • Help to coordinate and instruct specialist subcontractors where required
  • Ensure all works are completed in line with Health & Safety requirements and company procedures
  • Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Act as an ambassador for the Almeda brand and values



What We’re Looking For

  • Electrical (JIB) or Electromechanical qualification
  • Minimum of four years’ post-qualification experience
  • At least three years’ experience within facilities management
  • Good working knowledge of heating, hot water systems, ventilation, controls, and water hygiene
  • Strong understanding of statutory and compliance requirements
  • A professional, proactive, and customer-focused approach



Working Hours & Overtime

  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (5 × 8-hour days on site)
  • Overtime available and required at certain times to meet operational demands
