We’re looking for a motivated Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team at Education People LTD. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to develop a long-term career in education recruitment, specialising in supply and contingency contract recruitment.

You’ll play a key role in connecting talented teachers and support staff with schools across the region. Every day will involve speaking with Headteachers and senior school leaders, understanding their staffing needs, and helping to place the right candidates quickly and effectively.

• Proactively source and register high-quality candidates (teachers and support staff) through various channels.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, speaking daily with Headteachers and Senior Leaders to understand their requirements.
• Manage candidates and clients through the full recruitment process – from registration to placement.
• Update and maintain accurate records on our in-house CRM system.
• Support lead generation and business development activities.
• Assist with social media content to promote roles and strengthen our employer brand.
• Work closely with experienced consultants to learn best practices and grow quickly.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – you’re confident speaking with senior stakeholders.
• Strong organisation and time management skills.
• A proactive, positive attitude with a genuine interest in sales or recruitment.
• Resilience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or lead generation is advantageous but not essential – full training will be provided.
