Finance Manager

Join a leading beauty brand, as a Finance Manager at their Bristol office. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fast-growing, innovative company at the forefront of the cosmetics market. As a Finance Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day financial operations, provide insightful analysis, and support business decision-making across the organisation.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Produce monthly management accounts, including P&L and balance sheet, with full variance analysis and commentary.
• Post month-end journals, including prepayments, accruals, and depreciation.
• Maintain and update cash flow forecasts.
• Support annual budget preparation and ongoing tracking.
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns.
• Manage all bank payments.
• Complete intercompany reconciliations.
• Support auditors and assist with year-end accounts and Companies House submissions.
• Carry out stock reconciliations.
• Oversee credit control processes.
• Act as the first point of contact for finance system queries (Xero).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• CIMA or ACCA qualification is desirable.
• Experience producing management accounts and presenting financial data to non-finance stakeholders is essential.
• Experience working with cash flow forecasts and budgets is essential.
• Experience using Xero or a similar accounting system is essential.
• Experience accounting for stock is desirable.
