Financial Adviser – Bristol | Employed | Up to £80,000 Base + Up to 35% Commission | HNW Leads Provided

Salary: Employed base salary (validation at 1.2x basic) + commission up to 35% on new business

Location: Bristol

Working pattern: Hybrid — office and client based

We are working with a well-established, independently authorised financial planning firm in Bristol to recruit an experienced Financial Adviser on a permanent, employed basis.

This is a new business-focused role with genuine infrastructure behind it. Unlike many adviser positions that leave you to generate your own pipeline from scratch, this firm provides centrally generated leads, a structured referral programme, and access to a network of professional introducers — all designed to put you in front of high-net-worth clients from day one.

The earning structure is built to reward both the business you write and the ongoing client relationships you maintain — with commission rates of up to 35% across initial and renewal income. The firm also carries a pipeline of existing clients that strong performers may inherit as their growth is demonstrated.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

New business development:

  • Building and growing your own client portfolio through the firm's lead programme, referral network, and your own professional connections
  • Attending and delivering client seminars and events to attract new HNW prospects
  • Forming and maintaining strategic partnerships with solicitors, accountants, and other professional introducers
  • Converting centrally generated leads and warm referrals into long-term client relationships

Advice and client management:

  • Providing independent holistic financial planning advice across pensions, investments, protection, and estate planning to high-net-worth private clients
  • Conducting thorough fact-finds and building financial plans tailored to each client's objectives and circumstances
  • Delivering regular client reviews and maintaining FCA-compliant records throughout
  • Working with the in-house paraplanning and administration teams to deliver a high-quality, compliant client experience

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Required:

  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (CII DipPFS or equivalent) — essential
  • Competent Adviser Status (CAS) confirmed
  • Demonstrable track record in new client acquisition and revenue growth
  • Confident engaging high-net-worth individuals and managing complex financial planning cases

WHAT THE FIRM PROVIDES

  • Centrally generated HNW leads and a structured referral programme — a full pipeline from day one
  • Full paraplanning support — reports, research, and suitability letters handled so you focus on clients
  • Full administrative support — compliance, paperwork, and back-office handled by a dedicated team
  • Sponsorship and support towards Chartered Financial Planner status
  • Business development resources and marketing collateral
  • The infrastructure, brand recognition, and scale of a nationally respected wealth management business
  • A clear path to inheriting an existing client portfolio as your growth track record is established
