LTek Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Generator Engineer to join a growing and well-established business covering the Bristol and South West area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with experience working on diesel generators, power generation equipment, or associated plant machinery who is looking for long-term stability, overtime opportunities, and career progression.

You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of generator systems across customer sites throughout Bristol and the surrounding areas.

• Servicing and maintaining diesel generators
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
• Carrying out breakdown repairs and planned maintenance
• Installing and commissioning generator equipment
• Completing service reports and documentation
• Providing excellent customer service on site
• Participating in an on-call rota where required

• Previous experience working as a Generator Engineer or similar
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
• Experience working on diesel engines/generators
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
• Good communication and customer-facing skills

• Salary between £37,000 – £45,000 DOE
