Role Description

This is a role based in Bristol for a Solar Electrician. The Solar Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing PV solar panels and battery storage systems. Day-to-day tasks include site assessments, troubleshooting issues, adhering to industry safety standards, and ensuring seamless system operations. The role also involves working closely with clients to address inquiries and ensure their needs and expectations are met.

Qualifications

• Proficient in electrical installation, wiring, and system integration for solar PV and battery storage systems
• Knowledge of troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining solar electrical systems
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations, including adhering to specific solar industry safety standards
• Ability to interpret technical diagrams, and system schematics accurately
• Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and team members effectively
• Experience with diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment
• Relevant certifications, such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, and familiarity with MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) standards
• Clean UK driving license required
• Previous experience in the renewable energy sector is advantageous
