- Preparing CFD meshes (e.g., Fluent Meshing, ICEM CFD, ANSA or CADfix).
- Using CFD software (like Ansys Fluent, OpenFOAM, STAR-CCM+) to simulate airflow, generate meshes, and analyse aerodynamic performance.
- Post-processing the CFD solutions (e.g., python scripts, Tecplot, Paraview).
- Creating aerodynamic models and databases based on CFD and experimental data (wind tunnel, flight tests).
- Contributing to the optimization of aircraft designs by analysing aerodynamic behaviour and identifying areas for improvement.
- Analysing CFD results, extracting insights, and presenting findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Working with other engineers within the team to integrate CFD results and contribute to the overall completion of the project
