Salary: Up to £65,000

Location: UK Wide

Role Type: Full Time

About The Company

Our client is a leading professional services firm with a strong presence across the UK. Their Family Office & Private Client team is one of the largest and most respected in the country, supporting high-net-worth individuals, business owners, entrepreneurs, and family offices on a wide range of personal and international tax matters.

You’ll be joining a national practice made up of 150 specialists, working across the full spectrum of personal tax, trusts, estates, and partnership matters — often involving complex, high-value clients.

The Role

This is a hands-on, client-facing role focused on providing high-quality tax advice and support to a wide range of private clients. You’ll be working closely with stakeholders including business owners, senior executives, landed estates, and private equity professionals.

The role is primarily advisory, but you’ll also be expected to manage a varied portfolio and contribute to the day-to-day running of your client base.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Managing a diverse portfolio of high-net-worth clients, often with complex UK and international tax needs
  • Advising on income tax, inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and international matters
  • Spotting opportunities to add value and provide bespoke advice
  • Leading tax advisory projects and managing deadlines, risk, and compliance
  • Overseeing work-in-progress, billing, and cash collection
  • Supporting the development and progression of junior team members

What They're Looking For

Our client is looking for a motivated tax professional who’s confident working with sophisticated clients and complex issues. You might already be an Assistant Manager or a recently qualified individual looking to take the next step.

They’re open to candidates from a variety of tax backgrounds, as long as you’re committed to delivering great client service.

Key Skills & Experience

  • ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA qualified – or qualified by experience
  • Strong experience in personal tax, ideally with exposure to high-net-worth individuals
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commercial mindset and strong communication skills
  • Experience with trusts, partnerships, or international tax is a plus
  • Comfortable managing client relationships and advisory work
