Sub-System Design Engineer A leading defence organisation is growing its Command & Control team to support a range of cutting-edge weapon system programmes. We're seeking Sub-System Design Engineers to help deliver complex and high-performance sub-systems that play a critical role in national defence. The Role You’ll contribute across the development lifecycle from managing technical requirements and defining hardware/software interfaces, to authoring design documentation and supporting system verification and certification. Key responsibilities:
Requirements
Manage and review sub-system requirements Define and document system and interface designs Develop test plans and verification strategies Ensure traceability across requirements, tests, and evidence Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams This Sub Systems Design role could be for you if you have:
Experience in systems, software, or hardware development Strong background in requirements and interface definition Knowledge of system integration and verification practices Familiarity with model-based or structured development environments Eligibility for high-level UK Security Clearance This is a great opportunity to work on advanced defence systems, with real-world impact and strong potential for career growth.
