Lead FEM Engineer - Wing Structures & Digital Analysis

Are you ready to lead cutting-edge structural analysis for one of the world's most advanced aircraft? We're looking for a Lead FEM Engineer to support the Wing FEM and Digital Analysis team (1AWIA), ensuring robust and validated Finite Element Model (FEM) solutions across all Airbus commercial aircraft programmes.

What You'll Do

As a Lead FEM Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of structural integrity, responsible for:

  • Delivering FEM analysis to support wing-related issues, including in-service occurrences, repairs, plant and FAL issues, and design modifications.
  • Conducting studies, investigations, risk assessments, and structural analyses across the Single Aisle (SA) and Wide Body (WB) aircraft families.
  • Ensuring timely release of internal loads data and documentation for static and fatigue stress analysis.
  • Approving linear FEM reports and supporting the resolution of in-service issues to keep the fleet flying.
  • Capturing knowledge and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.

What You Bring

  • A strong background in aerospace structural analysis, with deep expertise in FEM and digital modelling.
  • Proven experience delivering validated FEM data throughout modification and certification processes.
  • Ability to manage complex technical challenges while maintaining design integrity and meeting engineering priorities.
  • A collaborative mindset with a commitment to safety, ethics, sustainability, and professional excellence.

Why Join Us?

You'll be part of a high-performing team that thrives on solving real-world engineering challenges. This role offers the opportunity to influence the structural performance of Airbus aircraft and contribute to a safer, more efficient aviation future.
