Business Analyst - #1797743

Our client, a high-tech engineering company is seeking a skilled Business Analyst. We’re looking for an IT Business Analyst to support our clients expanding organisation, it’s an exciting time to join as they develop their IT services & operations. You’ll focus on their emerging defence portfolio of work. With projects including IT Infrastructure. The client uses Waterfall Methodology. 

The client is willing to sponsor Security Clearance. To be security clearable for these projects, candidates will need to be British Nationals.

Key Responsibilities / Deliverables 
• Elicit and document business and functional requirements with embedded 
security and privacy considerations. 
• Produce security-aware artefacts including: 
o Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) 
o Functional Specifications 
o Threat Modelling inputs & Risk Assessment reports 
• Support the identification and documentation of service assets, data flows, and 
access controls. 
• Contribute to security risk assessments, DPIAs, and asset classification 
activities. 
• Facilitate workshops with security, compliance, and technical stakeholders to 
capture security obligations. 
• Support the secure onboarding and retirement of service components, aligned 
with UK government guidance.

So, what are we looking for in your application?
• Experience as a Business Analyst in secure or regulated environments. 
• Demonstratable experience in designing operational processes. 
• Knowledge of service transition. 
• Waterfall. 
Desired Security & Regulatory Knowledge: 
Familiarity with but not essential: 
o Secure by Design principles 
o NCSC guidelines 
o Cyber Essentials or ISO 27001 
o UK GDPR and Data Protection Act
