An exciting opportunity has arisen within our clients Bristol-based Product Assurance Software Quality team for an engineer eager to further develop their quality assurance skills and contribute to the wider Product Assurance community.
You will work on a diverse portfolio of defence programmes, supporting project activities alongside the UK Engineering Directorate's software development teams. Your role will be key in ensuring that hi-tech systems meet stringent quality standards and are delivered to trusted partners globally!

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure software quality assurance by adhering to defined processes and standards
- Support Project Quality Assessments, identify risks and critical issues, and contribute to monthly reporting
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across programmes to drive quality improvements
- Influence positive change with a collaborative, objective approach
- Communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal forms
- Maintain composure under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
- Work independently while contributing to a functional, integrated team environment
- Understanding or background in software development (full lifecycle) and quality assurance within a process-driven design environment is preferred; however, candidates from diverse industries are welcome
- Knowledge of software processes, including national and international standards and assurance requirements
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders
- Experience or knowledge of configuration management, documentation, and requirements management systems is highly beneficial
- Ideally hold an Engineering Degree or equivalent, but relevant experience will also be considered
- Company Bonus: Up to £2,500 (based on company performance)
