Salary: £21.40/hour

The Mechanical Day Technician is critical in ensuring the reliable performance of all machinery in the manufacturing plant. This role will support machinery on Production and VAP.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct routine maintenance, daily inspections, and high-quality preventative work onsite.
  • Record logs of all maintenance activities, and ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Partner with Production and Quality teams to optimize plant parameters.
  • Support the greater team with any other additional maintenance work.

What You’ll Bring

  • NVQ level 3 in maintenance engineering, a mechanical engineering apprenticeship, or equivalent work experience in a Mechanical Engineer role.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced/high pressure environment.
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment or other relevant industries is desired.
  • A flexible and adaptable team player who can both work independently and collaboratively.
