SEND Nursery PractitionerLocation: BristolContract Type: Full-time, Term-time

Salary: £80 - £100 per day

Are you a nurturing and dedicated early years professional with experience in supporting children with special educational needs? We are looking for a SEND Nursery Practitioner to join our inclusive and child-focused setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a vital role in the development of children aged 2-5 with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, speech and language delays, and sensory processing difficulties. Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality care and tailored support to children with SEND

Work 1:1 and in small groups, supporting individual development plans and EHCP targets

Use structured routines, visual aids, and sensory strategies to support communication and engagement

Build strong relationships with children, families, and professionals

Contribute to planning, observations, and assessments in line with the EYFS framework

About You:- Experience working with children with additional needs, either in a nursery, school or care setting- Knowledge of Autism, ADHD, speech and language delay, or other developmental needs- A warm, calm, and patient approach with a genuine passion for inclusive early education- Confident in working collaboratively with SENCOs, therapists, and families

Desirable:- Experience using PECS, Makaton, or sensory play-based strategies- Understanding of EHCP processes and developmental tracking- First Aid and safeguarding training
