Bristol Swim Club. Our growing team is on the lookout for suitable candidates to expand our service offering to our wonderful customers! About the Role:You'll be responsible for the planning and teaching of small-group lessons, primarily to primary-aged children, with some adult beginner sessions.

Youll thrive in this role if you are:A qualified swim instructor with previous teaching experience (SEQ Level 2 or equivalent)Warm, patient, and great with kids (and their parents!)Have confidence planning and teaching lessons

Further information regarding the role:ResponsibilitiesConduct swimming lessons for groups, tailoring instruction to meet the needs of each swimmer. Educate students on water safety, swimming techniques, and personal fitness. Develop lesson plans that promote skill progression while maintaining an engaging atmosphere.

Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement. Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons by adhering to established safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the swimming area and equipment.

Communicate effectively with students and their parents regarding progress and any concerns. SkillsProven experience in sports coaching or teaching swimming is highly desirable. Strong ability to educate and motivate students of varying ages and abilities.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Knowledge of water safety practices and first aid/CPR certification.
