Quantity Surveyor - #1793795

Reginald Gray is pleased to be partnering with a respected and growing contractor to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor in Bristol. This is a key commercial role within a business delivering high-quality residential schemes across the South West.

They have a solid pipeline of secured work and a strong reputation for delivery. Projects typically range from £1M to £5M, with the occasional larger job up to £10M.

The directors bring Tier 1 experience, but this is a lean, well-run setup where your input matters and your role isn’t diluted by layers of management.

Key Responsibilities

• Full commercial management of live projects from procurement to final account
• Preparing and managing subcontract packages, valuations, and cost tracking
• Working closely with operational teams to monitor progress and financials
• Managing change control, CVRs, and reporting to senior management
• Maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors and supply chain
• Ensuring contract compliance and commercial risk management (JCT)

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor on residential or similar build projects
• Solid working knowledge of JCT contracts and project delivery
• Ability to manage multiple packages and drive commercial performance
• Comfortable working site-based in the Bristol area
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
