We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Animal House Vets, Bristol.

Your day-to-day

Greet clients and their pets as they arrive at the clinic

  • Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
  • Check-in patients and verify their information
  • Update patient records and ensure accuracy of information
  • Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
  • Maintain cleanliness of reception area and exam rooms

Our greatest strength is our staff. Our experienced team of veterinary surgeons is supported by a dedicated team of qualified and trainee veterinary nurses and we all pride ourselves on providing the highest possible levels of patient care.

More About You

The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and experience in customer service and administrative tasks, and a minimum of three GCSEs grade 4/C or above.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in customer service and administrative tasks

Your shift pattern

You will be working a 39.75 hour week, including 1 in 4 Saturdays, and this could be at any of our 4 branches, so being able to work as part of the team or under your own initiative is a must. Having a clean driving license and owning your own car would be an advantage.
