Crest Nicholson have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Labourer to join our South West Division on a permanent basis initially based at our Perrybrook site in Brockworth, Gliucester.
Key Responsibilities:
The unlocking of the site compound and allowing access to secure plots if required by sub-contractors.
To ensure plots are secured at the end of each working day
To be responsible for maintaining high levels of site presentation in all areas, at all times and ensure site office and facilities (including toilets and canteen) are cleaned on a regular basis.
To be available for the cleaning of completed plots and ensure site is kept clean and litter free.
When required, ensure materials are stock-piled prior to bulk disposal
When instructed, to be responsible for the distribution of materials for sub-contractors using agreed destination routes.
Management and upkeep of skips, generators and general compound area.
To be for site at 7:30 opening up all plots and locking all plots + checking site perimeters at 4:30 to finish for 5PM
To help prepare units for pre plaster, involving mastic, foaming, insulation, spraying, taping and sweeping out immaculately
To help manage waste segregation
To help manage safety, secure bin chutes with fencing and help put safety signage up
To jet wash slabs and driveways for upcoming completion plots
To remove and adjust site boundary perimeter fencing where necessary.
Experience/Qualifications:
Must hold an up to date CSCS carded and be fully conversant with the Company’s Health, Safety and Environmental Procedures.
A minimum of 2 year’s experience in a similar capacity preferably on a building site.
Must have an outgoing personality, be courteous and polite
Must like working outside and have a logical and methodical outlook.
Effective communicator and be physically fit.
