We have an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer (Foundation) to join an in-house Delivery Team of our vibrant city’s local government.

Responsibilities Include

  • Develop and implement automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and service delivery using MS Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) or other suitable tools.
  • As part of an agile team, work with business users, architects, operations staff and others to design and build software systems meeting operational need.
  • Work with Practitioner Level Software Engineers and external developer resources to continuously build experience and effectiveness.

Skills Required

  • Proven ability to work with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) and/or other suitable automation tools to deliver process optimisation solutions.
  • Ability to work with low-code platforms such as Power Platform and familiarity with coding languages (e.g. Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Demonstrates creativity and innovation in developing solutions for the benefit of customers.
  • Keen self-starting approach to learning new programming skills and technologies.
  • Enthusiasm for working in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
