We are looking for a talented and motivated Renewable Energy Design Engineer to support the design and delivery of large-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level professional looking to grow within a dynamic, innovative team.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate and high-quality designs and layouts for Solar PV and BESS projects.
Assist in reviewing technical drawings and ensuring compliance with project requirements and relevant standards.
Work closely with senior engineers and project managers to deliver design packages on time and within budget.
Use AutoCAD and other relevant tools to support design coordination.
Provide technical input from early-stage design through to construction handover.
Support documentation updates and help maintain quality standards across the design process.
2–5 years of experience in Solar PV/BESS system design.
Solid understanding of solar and storage system design principles and components.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and PVSyst; any exposure to SCADA or PPCs is a plus.
Awareness of HV/LV electrical systems and grid connection basics.
Understanding of applicable standards and regulatory frameworks.
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewables, or a related discipline (preferred).
Full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
