RPS, a Tetra Tech company is looking for a Business Support Manager (Administration) and we’re flexible UK wide with location.
The Business Support Manager (Administration) is responsible for ensuring a full administrative service is provided to the technical teams across all accountability centres at varying locations.
The role will manage and lead the Environment wide business support team (currently at Executive, Administrator and Assistant level), based at various locations across the UK. They will work closely with the Business Support Managers (Operations), QESH Co-ordinator and the Business Development team and ensure resource is shared where support is needed.

What You Will Be Doing
- Lead and manage a multi-location team and ensure adequate resource and support is provided to each discipline across the business unit.
- Delegate work appropriately and fairly amongst the team, prioritising workstreams as appropriate.
- Building positive team spirit and maintain a culture that retains employees, identifies talent, promotes, and supports career development.
- Ensure knowledge and expertise is shared amongst team members, supporting training and development when required.
- Lead by example on RPS’ Behaviours.
- Ensure adequate administration resource is provided to business unit, co-ordination and delegation of tasks.
- Delivery of project related support to BSM (Operations) where needed.
- Supporting the MD/ODs to develop and embed new process and/or process improvement.
- Facilitate support to the Business Support Managers (operational) in the management of the P&L account.
- Facilitate liaison with the divisional finance and Project Finance Team.
- Ensure effective facilities management in all Environment led offices.
- Understands the importance of using relevant knowledge and skills to motivate and get the best out of the team, planning / prioritising work to achieve objectives.
- Listens, consults others and communicates proactively at all levels. Understands the importance of open communication and creating effective working relationships.
