Test and Integration Engineer - Military Communications

Location: Hybrid - 3 days onsite in North Bristol

Clearance: Active SC required (DV strongly preferred)

We're seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to join a leading programme deploying cutting-edge comms and edge technologies to the UK MOD.

This hands-on role blends technical deployment, system integration, and client support-ideal for someone who enjoys building and fielding innovative technology in live environments.

What You'll Do

• Integrate advanced tactical systems (C4ISR, RAS) within secure environments
• Deploy and support systems across UK MOD sites, ensuring operational readiness
• Deliver training, produce documentation, and provide frontline technical support
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to users and delivery stakeholders
• Collaborate with partners and customers to refine integration strategy and system improvements
  
  

You'll Bring

• 5+ years in technical roles such as systems, networking, or field engineering
• Experience with tactical radios (HF, VHF, UHF, MANET) and network communications
• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routing, security protocols)
• Proven hands-on deployment and troubleshooting skills in field environments
• Familiarity with MOD or secure/military settings
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  
  

Nice To Have

• Knowledge of geospatial tools (ArcGIS, TAK)
• Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps tools (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Background in software or systems integration
• Experience supporting secure or classified programmes
