At our GKN Filton site, we specialise in the design and manufacture of large complex structural wing assemblies, detailed metallic components and wing systems for a combination of both civil and military aircraft.

We are seeking an administrator to join our team to update and maintain critical information on internal systems, providing technical date within a manufacturing environment.

The role will see the successful candidate working a Monday-Friday day shift at our Filton site, initially on a 12 month Fixed term contract, although there may be opportunity for part-time and flexible shifts depending on business requirements.

How You'll Contribute

The successful applicant will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Data Entry & inputting various types of information (text, numerical and physical) into a computerised database
  • Maintaining clear and effective communication across department with stakeholders of various levels
  • ERP System Maintenance - update and maintain information in both ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications under the direction of engineering teams
  • Technical Data processing of manufacturing data to provide accurate and timely information to support business operations

What You'll Bring

Essential

To help us make a difference, you’ll bring your passion and talent for what you do along with the following skills, experience, qualifications and attributes:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with data entry
  • Excellent communication skills & attention to detail
  • Ability to work under direction of engineering teams

Desirable

  • Experience of working with an ERP system (preferably SAP)
