Part-time PPA Teaching job in Bristol


Your new company 
Hays Education are currently recruiting for a reliable and adaptable primary teacher to work at a Primary School in Bristol. This role is to cover a teachers’ allocated time for PPA and all the lessons will be pre-planned for you to deliver to the allocated class. The school are looking for an experienced teacher who is able to come in and become a part of the school’s multi-cultural and diverse setting. The school’s curriculum equips pupils with the necessary knowledge and skills so they achieve and develop a sense of worth and a moral purpose. The school has good behaviour with written principles for maintaining this as well as a hands on SLT team who are available for support and guidance. If you are looking to build a key relationship with a friendly Primary School in the Bristol area then this is the role for you. 
Your new role 
This role can be on a full or part basis working up to five days a week (dependent on your availability) and will be suited to those who have a passion for Key Stage 1 and 2 teaching looking to build a relationship with a local primary school. The schools will be looking for someone with strong and adaptable classroom skills as you will be covering the class duties for the afternoon; the role is open to ECT’s. The successful candidate will be required to pick up a teacher’s day to day classroom responsibilities and help drive the children towards the school’s ultimate purpose. The class and school will be expecting a consistent approach even though you will be providing supply cover for the days you are working. If you like the idea of building up a strong relationship with a key primary school in the Bristol area then this is the role for you. 
What you'll need to succeed 



  • You should have experience within a classroom setting in the last 5 years.

  • Eligible to work in the UK

  • Hold a UK Qualified Teacher Status.

  • Good knowledge of the English National Curriculum
