  • Liaise with external firms regarding costs matters and invoice queries
  • Maintain and update costs trackers to monitor invoicing and payments
  • Oversee invoices from receipt through to payment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Draft N260 (statement of costs) under supervision and direction
  • Maintain and develop your knowledge of costs law through resources such as Civil Procedure Rules, Senior Courts Costs Office Guide, and relevant costs blogs
  • Attend virtual or in-person costs law and practice events to enhance your knowledge and professional network
  • Support fee earners with cost budgeting and cost recovery correspondence
  • Keep accurate case records and billing information

What We're Looking For

  • Previous paralegal experience, ideally within dispute resolution or costs management
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically within Excel, and document management systems
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A keen interest in developing specialist costs law knowledge
