The Role

As a Paint Technician, you’ll be responsible for carrying out high-quality paint repairs and refinishing work on a range of vehicles. Working with modern tools and premium paint systems, you’ll ensure every vehicle looks showroom-ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing vehicle surfaces for painting through sanding, masking, and priming

• Mixing and matching paint to manufacturer specifications

• Spraying vehicles and panels using spray guns and booths

• Ensuring a flawless finish with attention to detail

• Conducting quality checks and rectifying any imperfections

• Adhering to health & safety and dealership standards

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a Paint Technician or Bodyshop Painter

• Knowledge of water-based and solvent-based paint systems

• Ability to colour-match and blend paint to a high standard

• Capable of working efficiently under deadlines while maintaining quality

• Relevant industry qualifications (ATA, NVQ, IMI, etc.) preferred but not essential

• A team player with a professional attitude
