Join one of the UK’s leading MEP contractors as a Mechanical Project Engineer, delivering complex mechanical building services on the prestigious Hinkley Point C project.

You’ll be part of a highly skilled engineering team working on the permanent installation of mechanical systems across several key buildings within the development. The role is predominantly office-based in Bristol, with 1–2 days per week on-site in Bridgwater as the project progresses.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate mechanical engineering installation works

• Review technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents

• Interface with design, planning, and delivery teams to ensure technical compliance

• Support the Project Manager with quality, progress, and safety standards

Requirements

• Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services

• Proven experience in large-scale MEP or complex infrastructure projects, ideally gained in nuclear, oil & gas, power or other regulated industry

• Strong understanding of mechanical building services and site coordination

• Excellent communication and documentation skills
