Junior Electronics Engineer - #1724413

Role- Junior Electronics Engineer Salary- £27,000- £32,000 per annum (dependant on experience, please advise) Type- Permanent Location- Bristol My client designs and manufactures a range of electro-mechanical products, and they are looking to take on a Graduate Electronics Engineer, on a permanent basis, in the Bristol area. The Junior Electronics Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• BSc/ BEng/ HNC qualification in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or similar
• Placement or industry experience working in a similar electronics / manufacturing environment would be desirable. 1 year or more experience is preferred doing electronics design
• Real-time embedded C – Bare Metal
• Experience of design for manufacture and full product life-cycle
• PCB layout and schematic design experience
• Be able to use standard electronic tools such as Spectrum Analysers and Oscilloscopes
• Have had exposure to developing firmware with STM32
• Any of the following skills would be desirable but not essential – RTOS, Python, GUI, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
• Be able to work well individually as well as part of a team
• Have good communication skills both verbal and written
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Be presentable and self-motivated

The Junior Electronics Engineer role will involve:

• Working as part of the engineering R&D team
• Designing and developing integrated firmware solutions
• Being involved with the design and documentation process
• Carrying out PCB design
• Writing and editing system firmware
• Being involved in feasibility studies
• Performing integration testing in line with project schedules
• Troubleshooting applications, software, hardware and integrated systems
• Producing technical documents and handbooks
• Using problem solving skills
