About The Role
We are seeking an R&DA Technician for our Portbury, Bristol, location.
The snacks alternatives category represents a significant growth opportunity for Kerry.
The selected candidate will work in a lab environment and support the Snacks RD&A Team.
Key responsibilities
- Accurate and methodic seasoning sample preparation
- Assist in the development of products from concept, trials and all the way through to launch
- Various types of Snack seasoning applications including topical and slurry application
- Liaise with cross-functional teams within the business to ensure everything is compliant, effective, and meeting the project expectations
- Raw material stock and availability management
- Base stock and availability management
- Manage and coordinate Analytical requests
- Manage and coordinate Sensory testing
- Perform functionality tests
- Project management
- General lab management
- 3rd level qualification desired but not essential
- Experience in a Food Manufacturing Environment Desirable but not essential
- A keen interest in food
- Competence navigating key R&D systems
- Project management skills
- Lab good practices
- Excellent communication skills
- Enthusiastic team player
- You will bring a high level of attention to detail and have excellent organisational skills
