Permanent, Part Time 18.5 hours per week.
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Youth and Community Worker to join our South Family Help Team.
The role will include working with a wide range of play and youth organisations from across South Bristol to help build and help grow our South area play and youth offer for children and young people aged 8-19 (up to 25 with learning disabilities).
The role will also include one to one work with children and young people to help bridge them into local services, local activities, and other relevant provision. A key element of the role is leading on youth democracy work, both within the community and within council services, to elevate youth voice and increase youth participation aligned to the Bristol South Youth Area Youth Forum and wider City-Wide participation work.
This post requires a JNC qualification at degree level (level 6) or above and some post qualification experience.
Please note that this role is subject to approved references and an Enhanced DBS Check.
