Occupational Health Advisor - #1719085

Our client has an opportunity for an Occupational Health Advisor to join them on a 12-month contract. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the development and delivery of a high-quality Occupational Health (OH) service.

  Location: Bristol, Bolton, or Stevenage


• 
  Hours: Part-time or full-time (minimum 3 days fully onsite; some flexibility for remote work)


• 
  Clearance: BPSS required to start; full SC clearance to follow. UK only due to project scope.


• 
  Hourly Rate: Up to £40ph via Umbrella, inside IR35

1. Deliver face-to-face technical services, including health surveillance, pre-employment assessments, fitness assessments, lifestyle screening, and health & wellbeing campaigns.


2. Collaborate effectively with HR, Line Managers, and Health & Safety colleagues.


3. Work mainly onsite, with occasional flexibility to work from home.


4. Travel to various sites as needed to ensure service consistency.


5. Conduct case management, health surveillance, medicals for fitness for work, and provide travel health advice.


6. Participate in wellness assessments requiring phlebotomy skills.

• Registered general Nurse with NMC


• Experience in an Occupational Health Nursing setting


• Occupational Health Specialist Practitioner (SCPHN) qualification (Part 3)


• Phlebotomy skills (desirable, willing to train)


• Experience with Spirometry and audiometry (training provided if necessary)


• Travel health experience (desirable)


• ECG skills (training provided if necessary)


• Passionate about health & wellbeing


• Proactive, organized, and able to multi-task


• Excellent IT skills and experience with OH data management systems
