Security Operations Coordinator - #1718969

Salary: £50k + £3k Car Allowance, Based in Bristol

This is an exceptional opportunity to work for our client, a global defence tech organisation. They seek an experienced Security Operations Co-ordinator to collaborate with the company Protective Security Lead, to coordinate and manage the organisation’s interactions with law enforcement agencies to ensure successful prosecution outcomes and be responsible for the protective security of the company’s people, places, assets, and events.

1. Support in the collection, preparation, and submission of evidence to maximise successful criminal justice outcomes.


2. Consult with Officers in Charge of cases and Witness Service to ensure visibility of company court commitments.


3. Attend court and provide witness evidence to support effective criminal proceedings.


4. Consult with law enforcement agencies to ensure the effective sharing of information and intelligence to protect the company and individuals.


5. Be part of the company Crisis Response Team, attending incidents to assist in their management.


6. Prepare and submit reports, making recommendations as necessary, to facilitate effective decision making and threat mitigation.


7. Create and maintain documentation in line with the requirements of the role.


8. Manage the planning, coordination, and delivery of event security across the business in conjunction with event organisers and the marketing team.


9. Manage the planning, coordination, and delivery of the company travel security operation, including providing travel security risk assessments and advice, consulting with international colleagues as required.


10. Conduct physical security risk assessments and surveys to protect the company and individuals.


11. Draw on a range of information and intelligence sources to create and deliver threat briefs across the company and its subsidiaries to help ensure the safety and security of employees and premises.


12. Act as the Firearms, Ordnance, Munitions and Explosives (FOME) and Items Attractive to Criminal and Terrorist Organisations (ACTO) liaison officer for the company.

• Previous experience in a similar role within Security Operations.


• Experience managing investigations effectively and ethically to relevant standards.


• Experience identifying security vulnerabilities and implementing risk mitigation strategies for premises and events.


• Developed knowledge and understanding of UK criminal law and criminal justice standards.


• Skilled in communication and engagement.


• Consistently produces and delivers high-quality, accurate work.


• Ability to organise and plan own workload.


• Ability to analyse and evaluate data and information critically, objectively, and rigorously.


• Ability to influence, manage situations, and diffuse conflict.


• Eligible to gain Security Clearance: SC. Candidates will need to provide evidence of identity and eligibility to work in the UK in line with COMPANY’s Baseline Security requirements.
