Technical Architect / Application Architect - #1718827

We are seeking a Technical Architect / Application Architect for a public sector client in Bristol. The role is hybrid, requiring presence in Bristol three days a week, with some UK-wide travel.

Duration: 24 months

Daily Rate: £400 (inside IR35)

Location: Bristol (3 days a week) with potential UK-wide travel

Responsibilities include:

1. Designing and overseeing the technical architecture of systems and services.


2. Justifying and communicating design decisions effectively.


3. Collaborating across multiple products, projects, or teams to solve complex problems requiring broad architectural thinking.


4. Ensuring system quality and alignment with broader government strategies.


5. Exploring cross-government benefits and providing mentorship to teams and other architects.

Requirements:

• Strong technical or development background.


• Experience with a wide range of industry-standard technologies, both proprietary and open-source.


• Experience in the public sector or government is advantageous.
