We have exciting opportunities for Hygiene Supervisor to join us at our Westerleigh site! You will ideally be an experienced Supervisor with Food Manufacturing experience, looking to take on your next challenge.

Rotating Shift Pattern

  • 2 weeks day shift - 06:00am - 14:30pm
  • 2 weeks night shift - 20:00pm - 04:30am

Our ideal candidate will need strong communication skills, great attention to detail and ability to lead and motivate the team. Your job will be to ensure that the factory is clean and ready for food production ensuring that the highest food safety criteria is met.

Your Tasks Will Include

  • The supervision of all personnel employed on the hygiene team.
  • To ensure that all hygiene operatives have the necessary training to perform to the highest standards.
  • To ensure that all hygiene operatives have the necessary training to carry out their tasks safely.
  • To ensure duties carried out within the hygiene team are conducted in accordance with food safety and hygiene standard.
  • To ensure that the factory conforms to factory GMP standards and are audit ready at all times.
  • Providing leadership and direction to the on-site hygiene operatives. Ensuring your team is focused, engaged and able to deliver.
  • Completing paperwork and reporting. To ensure that all records are stored properly, updated and accurate to audit standard.
  • To provide training on hygiene SOPs, health and safety and chemical safety.
  • To ensure food safety and health and safety standards are maintained across the team and investigate any failures. Instil a safety-conscious attitude and work methods into all your staff. Use disciplinary action, if necessary to ensure safe practices are followed.
  • To manage poor performance through counselling and disciplinary in accordance with Company procedures.
  • To lead by example by adhering to Company general policies, i.e., Food Safety, Health Safety, Absence, etc.
  • To drive forward hygiene standards in line with the company’s continuous improvement ethos.
