Senior Account Manager - BMW Group (Aftersales)
Cognizant Moment: Cognizant Moment is the Retailer Marketing Agency for BMW Group. We work with the BMW, MINI, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and BMW Motorrad brands to deliver marketing campaigns, guidance and tools to their network of Retailers/ dealers. In this instance we are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join the busy Aftersales Retailer Marketing team.
Role Purpose: This is a hybrid account and project management role, so you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of multiple creative and strategic content-based projects, whilst maintaining excellent client service levels. You will have great client management skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships with multiple stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities
Client Management
- Manage the day-to-day relationship with clients, building and maintaining strong working relationships so that they trust and value your opinions.
- Liaise with clients regularly (responding to briefs, attending meetings, status reporting, information seeking, managing milestones and approvals)
- Identify and resolve issues before they arise
- Give good strategic, proactive advice to clients based upon previous experience
- Develop an understanding of the brand and take responsibility for ensuring agency output is accurate, compliant and of the highest quality
- Work collaboratively with other agency teams, including strategy, creative studio and technology to ensure the best result for your clients
- Upload creative assets to the Retailer Marketing Services platform (ENGINE) and manage keyword tagging to ensure assets are easily found
- Report on dealer engagement to measure campaign success, and proactively identify ways to improve this on-going
- You will not have direct line management responsibilities in the immediate instance, but if this is a requirement in the future you will ensure regular appraisals, clear objectives and career plans are put in place
- Work with stakeholders to interrogate client briefs, understand requirements, define project scope and ensure projects are realistic and achievable
- Produce, manage and reconcile project documentation, including plans, timelines and budgets
- Forecast and manage project resource requirements
- Write and communicate thorough, informed creative briefs
- Motivate the internal team to make sure the work is the best it can be and champion great creative practice with clients
- Identify and manage risks and issues across projects, escalating where required and resolving/minimising issues with the project team
- Consult, manage and inform stakeholders, internally and externally to facilitate the smoothest possible delivery
- Able to adapt and respond quickly to change, and confidently able to manage multiple projects at any one time
- Monitor performance, including project health and report on KPIs regularly
- Embrace change, and manage it to avoid scope creep
- Excellent client management skills with a proven ability to add value to clients
- Have the confidence to ask questions and challenge where required, to ensure you fully understand and can articulate client requirements
- Experience of managing creative work through studio, including brief-writing, briefing teams, reviewing work and feeding back
- Strong project management skills, with experience of managing budgets, estimates and schedules
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-moving environment
- A problem solver who takes responsibility for finding a resolution
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Calm and pragmatic, with a can-do attitude
- You bring teams together and facilitate them doing their best work
- Experience of automotive, retailer and/or luxury marketing (desirable)
- Experience of CRM a bonus
- Experience of managing data/analytics/reporting a bonus
