Job Overview
This is an exciting time to join the team in Cardiac Investigations here at North Bristol NHS Trust. The Consultant team has recently been increased so we now offer complex device implantation and follow up to include CRT-p and CRT-d. We hold BSE Departmental Accrediation for Adult TTE, TOE and as a designated training centre. Along with Consultant appointments we have invested in the infrastructure with a replacement catheter lab commissioned in April 2023 . We have a robust replacement programme for our echo machines with four new GE machines delivered within the last 18 months and a new reporting system coming on line.
We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic cardiac physiologists to join the team for invasive and non-invasive diagnostics; a degree of rotation through all of our specialties is encouraged if appropriately trained
RCCP/AHCS/HCPC registrations are desirable.
We operate in an open and welcoming environment with full support from the 11 Consultant Cardiologists within the Trust

- Degree in Healthcare Science or equivalent
- PG Certificate in Cardiac Rhythm Management
- RCCP registration
- BHRS accreditation or equivalent
Essential criteria
- Working within a Cardiac Healthcare setting
- Previous device implant and follow up experience
- Some experience in carrying ILR implantation and follow up

- Ability to develop proficiency in the performance of routine and complex techniques currently in use where they are training (ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures accurately)
- Ability to use, maintain and troubleshoot scientific equipment.
- Have an understanding of quality control and management assurance in a science or work-based context
